Senior Ball

It was fantastic! The venue was amazing and everyone looked beautiful in their dresses and tuxes. <3

HIghlights of the night:

  • Getting the boutonniere on after like 10 tries…
  • TAKING PICTURES WITH LOTS OF PEOPLE AT THE PRE-PARTY
  • Meeting Jim (Jim Bob), our limo driver
  • Being in the limo with 9 other wonderful people
  • Seeing people doing their crazy dance moves on the dance floor
  • Thinking that one song was a slow song, and slow dancing for like 5 seconds when all of a sudden it stopped being slow. LOL.
  • When they played 1D’s “What Makes You Beautiful” <3 I think I went crazy.
  • Stepping/tripping over my dress every 10 seconds
  • Realizing the Eiffel Tower sculpture was made of ice
  • Seeing some teachers on the dance floor LOL

After-party at Evelyn’s:

  • Helping make some delicious chili mac-n-cheese
  • Eating the delicious chili mac-n-cheese
  • Going outside at 4 a.m. and lying in the street trying to spot meteors. I didn’t see any :(
  • Laughing uncontrollably while lying in the street.
  • Going out to the hill at 6 a.m. with several other people in an attempt to watch the sunrise. It turns out we sat on the wrong side of the hill, and the grass was super tall, but it’s okay. We watched the moon. :P
  • Returning to Evelyn’s house and everyone fell asleep except for me and Ryan, so we awkwardly sat there for like an hour watching people sleep.
  • At 7:20, we were extremely hungry and no one looked like they were going to wake up anytime soon, so we drove to a cafe and had breakfast
  • I got a breakfast burrito and it was the hugest, most perfectly cylindrical burrito I have ever seen.

Nationals/Disneyland recap.

3/29/12: We left school at lunch and began the drive to Anaheim. We finally arrived at the hotel and got our show flags and tips!

3/30/12: NATIONALS DAY. We got up early in the morning to go to Disneyland for several hours. After we got back, we spent a couple hours getting into uniform and doing makeup/hair. I don’t think I’ve ever worn so much makeup.

Afterwards, we drove to a nearby high school and practiced for a bit in the parking lot and then made our way to the Anaheim Convention Center. Waiting for our turn was soo nervewracking, especially after seeing all the other pep flags teams there. But it was all good in the end. Although we didn’t make it to finals, I think we still accomplished a lot considering we were one of the only teams there without a coach. After the awards ceremony, we went to Disneyland (again).

3/31/12: DISNEYLAND/CALIFORNIA ADVENTURES.

4/1/12: DISNEYLAND/CALIFORNIA ADVENTURES. We left the park around 12:30 and began the drive back.

Highlights:

  • Performing in Nationals, even though it was probably one of the most nervewracking moments of my life and I think I pulled a muscle from forcing myself into splits. >.>
  • Getting comments from random people the entire night after Nationals at Disneyland (since were were in our uniforms) which was kind of obnoxious because all of them thought we were cheerleaders and I felt like I was being judged. Haha.
  • Pin trading! It was mostly with Cast Members but there was this one couple who really wanted my Minnie Mouse Admit One pin and brought out all their pins for me to see and so I felt obligated to trade it LOL.
  • Riding on Thunder Mountain 5 times in a row with no wait.
  • Riding Tower of Terror for the first time.
  • California Soarin’ and California Screamin’ (pretty sure it was also my first time riding them but I’m not sure since the last time I went to Disneyland/California Adventures was in 2002..)
  • Riding Indiana Jones multiple times.
  • Watching World of Color!
  • Bringing my autograph book from 2002 and having more characters sign it.

Went to the Great Mall on Friday with my two wives, Evelyn and Mabel.

My wedding with Evelyn.

My wedding with Mabel.

After we changed out of our wedding dresses. LOL.

Photo creds to Evelyn (my twin and wife). ;D

San Francisco today!

I went to SF today with Evelyn, Priscilla, Emily, and Evelyn’s exchange student, Mika, to show her around the city. Evelyn had clam chowder for the very first time, this hobo asked for Priscilla’s empty drink cup, and we got stuck in insane crowds at the Chinese New Year parade in Union Square. Interesting/fun day. (:

Interesting shirts at a souvenir shop…LOL.

Today.

I went to San Francisco with a bunch of people today to see Clara C and Jeremy Passion perform at Verizon’s Lunar Year event in Union Square.

After the performances, they were having a meet-and-greet and we went to a nearby florist to buy flowers LOL. Evelyn, Mabel, and I bought flowers for Jeremy Passion. <3 Aren’t they prettyful?

PATIENCE IS A VIRTUE (as we found at ISA). So we waited at the very end of the line so we could get pics and autographs and everything. Clara and Passion signed the November page of my Verizon calendar. :D And Clara drew me a cake.

And we got pictures with both of them!

:D

All in all, a very good day.

Reindeer-ing is fun.
On the other hand, studying for calc is not.
